Hatch is an ever-growing art collective of artists, writers and performers. Our artist’s imaginative, experimental and playful responses to the challenges of our time are guaranteed to both provoke and delight!
‘The Last Party In The World’, our first fashion show, launched here at the Hatch barn in 2021. We then toured across the southwest including at East Quay and Fanny’s Meadow. The show’s theme celebrated the apocalyptic atmosphere of the space, expressing the artist’s hopes, concerns and identities through fashion, art, music and spoken word.
Following a similar format, our new fashion show saw our artists become eternal beings stepping back ‘INTO THE VOID’ abandoned by humankind. Delighted and disturbed by discarded products we created fashion fit for the gods.
This exhibition is a chance to see these creations up close as well as new artworks and installations. From Greek mythology to ancient folklore, this show houses a fantastical array of stories, some joyful, some poignant. Come and explore the dwelling places of the gods in this new mysterious world!
